Third Business Card Possibility

Here is what I've come up with based on everyone's comments:
What do you guys think of this one?

Thanks for everyone's comments, by the way!  When you look at your own design too long, you can't tell anything anymore (at least, I can't).

Also, I'm going to print the first (small) batch of these myself, but will likely do more later with either Moo or Vistaprint (I like moo more, but I like the deals you can get w/ vista).  Anyone have other recommendations for printers?

A Peek at My Weekend

So, it was a sketching, cutting, pinning (I tend to over-pin, as you can see), sewing weekend over here!  I'm still trying to bump up my inventory a little bit so I've got a bunch to put on the table at the Craft Fair this coming Saturday.

There's kitties, curlies, a puppy, a ram, and a pig all on the work table (aka dining room table; my hubbie's computer is on the other end!) here.  I also just finished a new one for the "Inspired Series" and will try to photo and post it tomorrow.

Also, here are a few links I'd love to share:

http://fallingladies-fallingladies.blogspot.com/2011/09/this-week_23.html - This great artist put her "Inspired" Muser "Fallingturtle" on her cool blog!

Another wonderful artist did a feature on me here - http://www.strungart.com/?p=572

The original "Guys" artist put the Musers version on her FB here - http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Art-of-Angela-Ranzoni/109161362462200

Oh, I also got a custom order to make a plush (and permissioned!) version of the "Bubblegum Gals" (also by the great artist of the "Guys").  Here's how they turned out:

Now back to working on designing some business cards!

Two Month Anniversary!

It's the Muser's Etsy 2 month Anniversary!!  Whew, what a hectic two months it's been!

As of this morning, the Musers Etsy site has had 19 sales, which is more than hoped (or planned) for from looking at similar shop's stats.  I researched it before opening, so as not to get my hopes or expectations up too high, and many shops have to wait at least a month for their first sale.  So, celebration is in order!!  I'll be doing this by sewing (maybe while dancing!) :).

It's been a lucky and blessed two months!  Thank You to my Facebook friends and fans, Blog followers, and of course Etsy customers, for your support and love! (and sweet Hubby for dealing with the ever-constant Muser mess I've made of the house!)

Here's to a bright Musers future!

Two Reasons Why I'm SO EXCITED!!

One (and much more important than the 2nd!!) is that we found out yesterday that my sister (there's just the 2 of us siblings, and we're 11 yrs. apart) is pregnant (1st time) with TWINS!!!  Oh wait, I guess it should be THREE reasons!

Here's the 1st photo of the little peanuts!:
Woohoo!!!!!

And Second (make that third), is that sales at the Musers site is really starting to pick up!  I've made 6 sales in the last 5 days, which is a new record for the Musers!!  Of course, now I've really got to start picking up speed with making them, but that's the kind of problem I'd much rather have!

This weekend, I'm working on a set of three little lump gals, designing a turtle (it'll be my first), making some new kitties, a puppy, and a big drip, and trying to design some business cards for that upcoming local Craft Festival.

Back to work (and watching football!)!

:)
This is Ophelia.  She's a new "inspired" addition to the Musers family.

Little Girl Gets Horse for Birthday! And The Guys!

Sophie (9yrs old) had a birthday party to go to Saturday, so asked her friend what her favorite animal and colors were.  The answers were "Horse" and "Blue and Black".  So Soph drew a horse and helped pick out a fabric, and I scanned it in and cleaned it up, and here's how it came out:

And here are some photos of my newest listing on Etsy, The Guys!:

They were inspired by another Etsy Artist's listing!  You can read more here:

What's Goin' Down...

I'm trying to make more stuffies for an upcoming 1 day local craft show.  It will be at Market 334 in Cumming GA, on October 1st.  I'll be sharing a table with my great friend Lisa, who will have some beautiful photo prints there!

I'm also trying out a new site, which you can check out here:

Oh my goodness!

What a wonderful surprise I got this morning: Musers had 3 separate sales today on Etsy!  So far, its been around 1 sale a week, so I was doing a little dance when this happened :).

Here's who sold:

Now I actually need to make more!

Yay!
